Trains again

Would it kill First Capital Connect to buy some of that sheeting you can use on conservatory glass to reflect both infra-red and ultra-violet light, whilst letting visible light through for their train windows?

It's irritating enough that those of us who take the shorter journies (and by the way pay the highest cost per mile) get the crappiest trains, standing on platforms as we watch the newer air-conditioned, four seats across Cambridge trains go thundering through. But to cap it all, were expected daily to prove it is not possible to sit five people in comfort across the width of a standard gauge carriage, whilst doing so in extremes of heat, caused in the main by sunlight pouring through windows with all it's heat generating faculties intact.

You may have gathered I've sat on the wrong side of the train this morning - literally not metaphorically - and in consequence I am slowly burning.
